DSTO Maritime Defence Technology Symposium Pacific 2012

Wednesday 1 February

This conference will be held on Wednesday 1st of February and will be conducted by the Defence Science Technology Organisation (DSTO) in conjunction with Maritime Australia Limited.

The theme for the 2012 conference will be "Science and Technology for Amphibious Capability"

With the acquisition of the Canberra Class LHDs and their subsequent inclusion in the RAN fleet, Australia faces a whole new set of technological challenges supporting a new and vastly enhanced capability. DSTO will bring experts from around the world and from within Australia to look at the way ahead in this exciting new phase of Australian Naval Defence Operations.
