To be held on Thursday 2nd and 3rd Feb and conducted by Maritime Australia Limited with assistance from AMSA.
This forum will look at emergency services operations in the Great Barrier Reef area, the use of RAN Hydrographic ships as rescue platforms, GIS system utilisation and enhancement, mapping and network movement, the SAR System including the technologies employed,assets being used and responsibilities for coordination and in-harbour rescue.
There will be speakers from Swire Pacific Offshore, Maritime Safety Queensland, Western Australian Police, AMSA and NSW Water Police.
This forum will also have a dedicated SAR & Maritime Emergency Services Showcase for exhibitors wishing to participate in this event.
